Hi, I just took up the hobby of fermenting and distilling my own alcohol. This is the result of my wife telling me I have too much time on my hands. To start off, I am only fermenting a water and sugar mix. I am using a pot still with a 1 foot flexable silicone hose from lowes coming off of the pot which goes to my copper piping condensor for easy connecting and disconnecting. Could this hose be the reason the alcohol is giving me stomach pains a few hours after drinking? I took three shots worth over a couple of hours. I would like to get this down to a T so I can start trying to make actual types of alcohol. I really don't want to give up on this. Thanks
