My hubby hit deer last week we rent to own , iunsurance called today n totled it. Now what we do not own it.?

I've never heard of anybody with a rent to own car. If you don't own the car, they do, and they should have had it insured to protect their interest. I ume you have some paperwork you had to sign, the answer is probably in there.
