How can i make my hamster less shy?

ok, so she is the 7th hamster i have had in my life. (she is hiding under a pillow right now) she is the second one that has not tried to escape on her first time out (the other on was very friendly, slept next to me, snuggled up next to me, ate a lot, she was basically my best friend in the whole world) i want to make my new hamster at least friendly, not as shy as she is right now. i don't know what i can do, all my other hamsters naturally came to me, (or ran away) but she does not move, just hides. if i take her out of her hiding place, she just runs to the same one or another, she does not even come out when i show her food and put it in the centre. any advice, please and thank you for the help.
