Can I have two video adapters on the same computer running windows XP

I have an AGP nvidia quadro nvs 285 and a ATI Radeon 9250 on the same computer, but it allows me to see only one adapter at the same time, it gives me: This device cannot start. (Code 10) to the secondary adapter. Is there a way to make them work together?
