Could I get Tourettes Syndrome?

I found out not that long ago that my dad had tourettes, he sounds like he has hiccups all the time, and he twitches non stop, but since he was always like that, i never really thought about it or really noticed it... he just happened to mention a month ago. I know its hereditary, and each kid has a 50% chance of getting it, and my 19 year old brother doesn't have it. I read that it can start as a kid or young teen during a time of a lot of stress.. and right now I'm under more stress than I ever have been in my entire life because of family issues. But I am 15, and my dad said that if I had tourettes that i would know it by now, but I'm still a little worried... my hands have always been shaky and I can't hold them still same with my brother, but thats it... is there any chance that I could still get tourettes syndrome?
